What’s great about a table lamp is that it is not only meant for tables alone. It can be placed at the corner table or even at the top of your shelf. The shade and the base of the lamp must be proportion to each other. Moreover, it must also fit the size of your other furnishings as well. Do not forget that the table lamp must not only become a beautiful decoration in your room. It would also be the main source of light at the same time. Aside from that, it would also be your light source when reading in bed as well.
The height of the table lamp would greatly depend on the height of your current nightstand. If your nightstand is short, then a taller lamp would work best on your bedside. But you can also stack some books below your short lamps and make a nice decoration out of it too.
